Covering his face with the clothes that he was wearing he hurried over to open a door or a vent or something but these old buildings didn't have those luxuries. The best thing to do was probably to stay put till the dust settled, or maybe Ireland could conjure up some wind to dispel it all. That'd be kind of cool to see, to be honest.
